Homemade Blueberries n' Cream Oatmeal

It's Blueberry Month! There is something magical about the taste of blueberries. Sweet yet tart. You can put them into salads, pastries and smoothies. A well versitile power fruit indeed!

 

This morning we are cooking up handmade blueberries and cream oatmeal! A simple and healthy breakfast choice!

 

 

 

 

The end result? Simply delicious!

 

 

Ingredients (Single serving):

Cup of Milk (Soymilk recommended for creamier taste)

Dash of Cinnamon

Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

Handful of Blueberries

2 tablespoons of Honey

Cup of unsweetened Oats

 

Directions:

Heat milk in pot and add oats, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Once oats begins to soften, add blueberries and honey. Add milk if you do not prefer a thicker texture. 

Serve in large bowl (add banana slices and strawberry slices for a more fruitful taste!)
